Student Financial Assistance Estimator

The Student Financial Assistance Estimator (SFAE) is an interactive Web application that can be used by students to estimate their annual student loan and grants amount.

The estimator has been designed to show the amount of assistance you could potentially receive from the Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP) and participating provincial or territorial programs.

Please Note: Since the amount of funding that you may receive varies from province to province, the values used in this tool are estimates. These assessments will be subject to criteria set by the individual provinces and territory.

Course Load

Full-Time Course Load

A full-time course load is 60 per cent or more of a full course load (or 40 per cent for students with permanent disabilities), for a period of at least 12 consecutive weeks at a designated educational institution.
